Since Friday February 3rd, I have had two more ultrasounds done. I went yesterday and I was told that I only had one more follicle that was above 10mm and that my levels were not matching what my follicles are showing. I had two follicles that were above 10mm and my husband and I might have to think about if we wanted to retrieve both of them or if we would like to hold off on this month and try again next month. They said that they did want me to come back again today and see what happens. I always did have option to just take the two if we wanted to. So after discussion, my husband and I decided that we would take what we could get and be thankful and just see what happens.
I went for more blood work and ultrasound this morning and I was told at my call back that my levels are rising with my follicles and that today that I have four that are above 10mm on the right ovary and then 5 on the left that are just under 10mm. My levels are increasing where they should be and staying low where they should as well. I felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders but then I feel like that we are not out of the woods just yet. We still have a lot to do and go through so I am going to be happy but not take anything for granted because I feel like it could change again overnight like it just did!! I have an appt on Thursday for more blood work and ultrasound so I will update again with that then. Hopefully with a retrieval date so I can get these eggs out and put back in!!
