Two to go!!!!

So day 10 of Lupron was on Friday 1/27/12. I went in for blood work and USD as planned and was told that since I had not received my menstrual cycle yet, I needed to wait until day 2 of my cycle then return for more blood work and USD. Apparently a few of my levels were not what they wanted to see and I needed to wait a few more days. So today was day 2 of my cycle and as instructed I was at the office at 8a for both the blood work and USD. This afternoon I received my phone call about my results and the nurse said that all my levels looked good and that I was ok to start the next two of my medications. Menopur and Bravelle. I need to inject 150iu alternating the Menopur and Bravelle in the morning and in the evening until Friday morning and then return for more blood work and USD. I am still supposed to continue with the Lupron but decrease that by 0.5 iu until Im further instructed.  I am hoping that I have just as much good luck with side effects with these two meds as I did with the lupron. I am experiencing night sweats and hot flashes with is super weird at 26 but it could be a lot worse. I am getting really excited because my retrieval should be in about 12 days from now but I guess they will let me know when they call me on Friday. When they see how my levels are increasing and at the right rate. Baby watkins should be here before we know it!!!

Baby making has begun!!!

So yesterday I had my first ultrasound and blood work appointment for my IVF process! I got the phone call from my doctors office around 11:30a that I did ovulate and that I had the OK to start my medication. I am taking 10 iu (units) of Lupron daily in the am for 10 days and than go back for my blood work and ultrasound. After that point I'm really not sure what to expect but I'm sure it will be to add another injection to the regimen because there are a lot of medications that I was given, and they all need to be squeezed into one month. As of right now I feel fine, no side effects yet from this medication, but I should not speak to soon. Until day 10!!!
